Tigo Cash



Cash In

To put money on your account:

1.      Go to a Tigo Cash agent with a valid national ID. Look out for the Tigo Cash signboard to identify an agent.
Call 110 to locate an agent near you.

2.      Give your ID, phone number and cash to the agent.

3.      Wait for an SMS to confirm the deposit onto your account and sign the agent’s log book.

Send Cash

Once you are registered and have cash on your account, you can use Tigo Cash to send cash ANYTIME, ANYWHERE to ANYONE on ANY NETWORK!

1.      Dial *110# to access the Tigo Cash Menu:

2.      Send Cash is option 1. To select this, reply to the menu, enter the number 1 and press send/answer.

3.      The next screens ask you to enter the mobile number you wish to send cash to and the amount you want to send.
Enter the by replying to the prompts.

4.      Finally you will be told the fee for the transaction and you will be asked to enter your PIN to confirm it.

Once your PIN is entered, your cash will be INSTANTLY!

Withdraw Cash

1.      Go to a Tigo Cash agent with a valid national ID. Look out for the Tigo Cash signboard to identify an agent. Call 100 to locate and agent near you.

2.      If you ARE NOT REGISTERED on Tigo Cash:
Simply show your ID and the SMS you received from Tigo Cash to the agent. The SMS contains the 12 digit code which identifies your received cash.

3.      If you ARE REGISTERED on Tigo Cash:
Dial *100# to access the Tigo Cash Menu

4.      Withdraw cash is option 3. So, to select this option, reply to the menu, enter the number 3 and press send/answer.

5.      The next screen will request the agent code or phone number. Ask the agent to provide you with the number

6.      Finally you will be asked to enter the amount you want to withdraw and to confirm by entering your PIN

7.      Show your ID to the agent and take your cash!

Simply call 110 (for Tigo users)
Or 0578100100 (for non Tigo users)
Also look out for the Tigo Cash Agent signs.

I entered the recipient’s phone number incorrectly. Is the money lost?

No Call 110 or go to a Tigo Cash Customer Service Center and report your mistake. They can send the funds to the correct recipient. This will take around 1 working day. Please check numbers well after entering them!

I have forgotten my PIN! What should I do?

If you forget your PIN call 110 or go to a Customer Service Center to reset it. Always choose a PIN that you can easily remember that is secret.

How can I change my PIN?

1.      Dial *110#
2.      Select option 5 for ‘My Account’
3.      Select option 3 for ‘Change PIN’
4.      Enter current PIN
5.      Enter the new PIN
